BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — In just over three weeks, a 19% property tax hike will start to take effect in Buffalo, but it will take a few months to show up on homeowners’ bills.
Deputy Buffalo Mayor Benjamin Swanekamp shared how resources, including a property tax calculator, can help residents prepare for July 1, when homeowners can start seeing these changes.
“All throughout the budget process we wanted folks to see the actual impact on their bills on an annual or monthly basis, so we built a tax calculator,” Swanekamp said…
