5th annual ‘Carmella Classic’ benefit in Lancaster

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The fifth annual Carmella Classic took place in Lancaster on Friday.

The annual golf tournament raises funds and support for the P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative and honors the life of Carmella Rossi, who died in 2020 when she was just three years old. The event was kicked off by Carmella’s brother Enzo, who took the first swing of the day.

“This is an event that is all about her,” Carmella’s father, Anthony Rossi, said. “It’s doing the things that she loved. She loved being outside, being with family and friends, playing out in the sun, and that’s what we try to do. … She can’t be here with us, but we’re here to celebrate her life.”…
