BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Locals were busy prepping and preparing their summer gardens Saturday at the 20th annual Lewiston Garden Fest.
Over 100 vendors filled the town’s Center Street, offering flowers, plants, and other garden essentials. Vistors also had the chance to speak to experts about their garden visions, and even get their soil professionally tested.
“It’s a celebration of summer, we’re getting into summer now and longer days, and people are anxious to buy nice things for their garden,” Doreen Albee, a member of the Lewiston Garden Fest Committee, said. “They can get plants or garden art, even hardscape for their gardens, and other vendors are here, so it’s a celebration of everything garden.”…
