Overnight search leads to life saving rescue in Boston Forest County Park

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 911 caller is being credited with helping to save a man’s life following an overnight search in Boston Forest County Park.

According to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, a search was launched around 8 p.m. Monday after receiving a report that an unattended vehicle had been parked for several hours. Deputies paused the search around 1 a.m. to resume in daylight hours.

Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, deputies located the vehicle’s owner 250 feet off of a trail, unresponsive and barely breathing…
