USPS employee admits to stealing workers’ compensation benefits

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A United States Postal Service employee was sentenced for stealing nearly $10,000 of workers’ compensation benefits, New York State’s Inspector General Office said on Friday.

Thomas Malicki, 28, of Kenmore, pleaded guilty to stealing wage reimbursement checks that were mailed to his then-girlfriend’s mother after she died.
