POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 4:20pm on June 27th after reports of animal welfare at Wegmans on Military Road in Niagara Falls.
The 911 caller, people on location at Wegmans, told police that they were concerned for the well-being of multiple dogs. The vehicle was a red dodge in a handicap spot. Based on the weather at the time of the call, it was estimated that the temperature inside of the vehicle exceeded 100 degrees.
Police responded to the scene. It is unknown whether or not police smashed the window to gain entry into the vehicle or of any sort of charges were made / tickets given to the pet owner. No further information is available at this time…
