BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The cities of Tonawanda and North Tonawanda came together Saturday for their annual Fourth of July firework display.
“We are celebrating America’s 250th birthday here on the 4th of July between the Tonawandas for our annual fireworks show … every year the mayor of Tonawanda and myself get together, and we raise a ton of money, great sponsors and businesses come together,” North Tonawanda Mayor Austin Tylec said. “We really pride ourselves that we don’t rely on tax dollars to put this together.”
People from both near and far were excited to see the show that has become a joint tradition for the two cities…
