Buffalo man admits to fatal shooting on Isabelle Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree manslaughter in connection to a fatal shooting in Buffalo in October, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Officials said Sir Raven Rodgers, 30, of Buffalo, shot a victim with an illegal gun on Isabelle Street near Laird Avenue on Oct. 14, 2025, around 9:30 p.m. The victim, identified as 47-year-old Rafael Ruiz Quinones, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rodgers faces a maximum of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced in October. He remains held without bail.
