Crews to restore Korea War plane at Kenney Park

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Work will soon begin on a navy aircraft that’s on display in the Town of Tonawanda.

In October, town leaders announced that Gabe’s Collision would recondition the Korean War era “Cougar” at the town’s Veterans Memorial at Kenney Park. The blue airplane has been perched there for nearly 70 years.

It’s unknown how long the restoration will take.
