Man charged in 4 killings makes court appearance

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The case against the man accused of killing four people last month — including his wife, his two young children, and a convenience store clerk — was back in court on Wednesday for a pretrial conference.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office said a forensic examination requested by the defense is still underway. Once it’s complete, prosecutors said they will file the required paperwork certifying they have turned over all evidence to the defense.
