BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Crimestoppers WNY announced Thursday that they are offering up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of the event promotor connected to the violent weekend of shootings in Buffalo.
According to Buffalo Police, Daevon Alexander is wanted in connection with the Sunday shootings that occurred on Stevens Avenue.
Four people were shot on Stevens around 12:15 a.m. on July 5 during what was described by Buffalo Police Commissioner Erika Shields as a planned “street takeover” organized by a party promoter, who the department has confirmed to be Alexander. There were six different shooting incidents across the city in the early hours of July 5, resulting in 11 people being shot.

Alexander is described as being 6 feet, 1 inch and weighing 185 pounds.
