Buffalo arrest leads to robbery charges in Dunkirk and Hamburg cases

DUNKIRK, N.Y. — A man sought in connection to two robberies that happened last month in the City Dunkirk has been arrested and faces multiple charges.

The Dunkirk Police Department said that Robert Lyman, 32, was located and arrested by Buffalo Police on July 11. He was sought by Dunkirk Police after two incidents that happened in the city on June 16.

Lyman was arraigned on one count of robbery and one count of attempted robbery. Following the arraignment, Lyman was turned over to Town of Hamburg Police and faced additional charges related to a separate robbery that allegedly occurred in Hamburg…
