BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Urban League Outreach Program and Buffalo Hope hosted a free community wellness fair on Saturday at Corpus Christi Church.
A number of local services were available to answer questions and provide information, including resources for mental health, food assistance, and insurance services.
“The reason why we’re doing the wellness fair today is because there’s a need for mental health,” team lead and supervisor James Baines with Buffalo Urban League said. “Doesn’t mean that you have to have any mental health problems, but there’s certain things that, you know, people need to help them deal with stress and stuff throughout their life.”…
