The incident occurred Friday evening, Aug. 21, according to reporting from WGRZ, which said authorities were searching the river after the man reportedly jumped roughly 100 feet from the bridge.

As of the latest information reviewed by the Utica Phoenix, authorities had not announced that the man had been located.
