Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club gave ARC Rochester a look ahead at this year’s Heroes Ball — this year’s theme is “Advancing Hope & Support One Yard at a Time.”
This year’s guest speaker is former Buffalo Bill Running Back and Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas. He will talk about how cancer has touched his life, as he lost his mother to breast cancer. He’s also offered support to teammate Jim Kelly during his cancer battles.
