(WNY News Now) – An off-duty Erie County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arraigned Friday on a DWI charge following a head-on crash in Cheektowaga that seriously injured another driver.
Christopher D. Imhof, 35, of Cheektowaga, was arraigned Friday morning in Cheektowaga Town Court on one count of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor under New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
According to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, the crash happened on Friday, August 21, at about 9:12 p.m. Imhof was allegedly driving eastbound on French Road when his vehicle crossed into the westbound lane near Garden Village Drive.
