Lockport man pleads guilty for fatal Sanborn crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Lockport man is facing up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty for causing a fatal crash that killed a motorcyclist in Sanborn, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said.

Nicholas DiCarlo, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree manslaughter.

Officials said that DiCarlo was driving 75 mph in a 45 mph zone and using a mobile device when he struck and killed 26-year-old Hunter S. Weber in a head-on collision around 9 p.m. on July 17, 2025.
