Stepfather Beats Child with a Flashlight in Niagara Falls, Chased Him For Half Mile When He Tried to Escape

POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 5:42am on September 11th after reports of a domestic incident with injuries on Ferry Avenue in Niagara Falls.

The 911 caller, a child, told dispatch that his stepfather had beat him with a flashlight. The child was waiting outside for police to arrive when the stepfather came outside and began chasing him. He chased him all the way to the area of 19th and Niagara Street. The child when screaming and out of breath when the call abruptly disconnected.

Police responded to the scene around 19th and Niagara Street where the child said that he was when the call ended. It is unknown whether he and his stepfather were located. No further information is available at this time…
