POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 4:45pm on September 13th after reports of menacing at the Maid of the Mist inside of the Niagara Falls State Park.
The 911 caller told dispatch that there was a black male who was threatening one of the deckhands who worked on the boat(s). At the time of the call, the male suspect had left the Maid of the Mist area but, before leaving, told the employee that he was going to “kill him.” The suspect further said that he had a “piece for him.”
Police responded to the scene. After leaving the Maid of the Mist the suspect went to Prospect Point to look at the falls. It is unknown whether the male was taken into custody and removed from the Park. No further information is available at this time…
