BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Hamburg man has been found guilty of sending indecent texts to a minor last year, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.
Ezechiel Travis, 39, was convicted of three charges Wednesday in relation to sending texts to the minor on Sept. 17, 2025, trying to induce the minor to engage in sexual conduct or sexual performance. He did so while violating an existing order of protection. The victim’s mother reported the texts to police.
Travis was found guilty of first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, first-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. Jurors gave a decision after less than an hour of deliberation following a three-day trial…
