BUFFALO, N.Y. — There is going to be multiple ‘No Kings’ protests in Western New York on Saturday.
Organizers with the Buffalo United Coalition say the protests are scheduled exactly one week before early voting for the midterm elections begins and aim to increase voter participation.
“We have marched, we have rallied, and we have raised our voices. Now it is time to turn that civic energy into participation,” said Timothy Priano of Buffalo United Coalition. “October 17 is about making sure Western New Yorkers have the information they need to make their own voting plans and participate in our democracy.”…
