BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man was killed and four people were injured in a crash involving a NFTA-Metro bus and a vehicle Tuesday morning.
The NFTA said a metro bus was traveling southbound at 10:55 a.m. on Fillmore Avenue, near Kensington Avenue, when a Volvo, traveling northbound, spun into oncoming traffic. The vehicle and the metro bus collided.
The driver of the Volvo succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not immediately made clear.
Four people on the bus, including the bus driver and a minor, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, the NFTA said.
The crash is under investigation.
