She wasn’t ready for it: Taylor Swift shocks worker with $100 tip at Chiefs-Bills game

Somewhere along the line, Jerris Rainey must have put some good out into the universe because karma visited her big-time at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, and she was shocked by who delivered it — Taylor Swift.

Rainey is a ticket taker at the stadium where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills Sunday in the Divisional playoff game. Swift watched the game from a suite and cheered on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his teammates .

Rainey, a self-described Swift fan, told WKBW in Buffalo that she just wanted to lay eyes on Swift, but much more happened.

She said she was getting ready to leave the stadium at the same time Swift’s entourage was heading out.

Rainey said it was “like a whole SWAT team situation” of security and sheriff’s deputies escorting Swift. So Rainey waited around to see if she could catch a glimpse of the star.

Swift saw her, stopped “and she asked me if I worked at the stadium. I said yes,” Rainey said. “And she asked if she could give me a tip. And she gave me $100 and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her and I said yes.”
