BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Multiple roads closed Friday morning as rain and snowmelt impacted Western New York. A Flood watch was issued for Erie and Chautauqua counties and remains in effect until 7 a.m. Saturday.
A Flood Warning was issued for Erie and Niagara counties and is in effect until 1:15 p.m. Friday.

- Section of Greiner Road between Shimerville and Thompson roads (as of 7:15 a.m.)
Tonawanda
- Section of River Road between Sawyer Avenue and Grand Island Boulevard (as of 6 a.m.)
Lewiston
- Walmore Road (north and south bound) between Mount Hope Road & Upper Mountain Road (as of 8:20 a.m.)
Standing water was reported at Genesee Street and Dick Road in Cheektowaga but the intersection remains open as of 7:30 a.m. Drivers are urged to use caution.
