BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A lucky Bills fan is getting a free trip to this year’s Super Bowl thanks to Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins.
The 2024 Pro Bowl selectee and his foundation, Dion’s Dreamers, partnered with West Herr Auto Group to surprise Lexie, an 8-year-old from Western New York, with the tickets on Friday evening at one of West Herr’s dealerships in East Aurora.
The trip also includes airfare, a hotel stay and a shopping spree.
Lexie, one of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee’s biggest fans, said she was “so excited” when Dawkins surprised her with the trip.
“I’m so in shock right now,” Lexie said. “This is one of my actual dreams coming true.”
Dawkins said he was excited for Lexie to witness the game that represents the pinnacle of achievement in professional football.
“She’s going to witness greatness,” Dawkins said. “For her to see greatness, and see the lights and see the show and see a different level of expertise, it will be amazing … Hopefully it’s an experience of a lifetime.”
