New snow sculpture outside Ten Lives Club honors Bills’ Tyler Bass

BLASDELL, N.Y. (WIVB) — Nearly one week after the Bills heartbreaking Divisional loss, fans are continuing to show their support for Tyler Bass.

After the Bills’ kicker missed a game-tying field goal in the game against the Chiefs, people have been donating $22 toward Ten Lives Club in honor of Bass, who has partnered with the nonprofit in the past.

“We hope he’s seeing all the support and love coming his way, and knows what a difference he’s making in the lives of cats,” said Kimberly LaRussa, public relations manager for Ten Lives Club.

Eric Jones, who is known for his sculptures, spent Saturday afternoon working outside the organization’s clubhouse, molding into snow a moment that happened after the game as Josh Allen and Bass were walking off the field for the final time this season: Allen giving his teammate a hug.

“I saw the photo [of that moment] after the game, and I changed it to my profile picture on my social media,” Jones said. “I had several people say ‘Hey, you should make that into a sculpture,’ and I thought that’s a wonderful idea.”
