Amherst leaders are working to improve Main Street for both drivers and pedestrians

AMHERST, N.Y. – Leaders in Amherst are trying to find a way to make Main Street more functional for both drivers and pedestrians. Town supervisor Brian Kulpa said the area between the 290 and Bailey Avenue has more than a dozen speed changes, with pedestrian crossings that can end up in blind spots.
