Brady joined Buffalo as its quarterbacks coach in 2022 after two years as the Panthers’ offensive coordinator
The Buffalo Bills are removing the interim tag from offensive coordinator Joe Brady, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport , officially making him Ken Dorsey’s replacement as play caller for the immediate future.
Buffalo went 6-6 under Dorsey in 2023 before handing the reigns to Brady.
With Brady, the Bills won their final five games of the regular season to clinch the AFC East and the AFC’s No. 2 seed.
Ultimately, the Bills’ season ended at home to Kansas City, thanks to a 27-24 loss in the Divisional round last Sunday.
Brady burst onto the scene as Joe Burrow’s passing game coordinator when LSU won the national championship in 2019 behind a historic offense. Brady became the Carolina Panthers’ offensive coordinator in 2020.
After two seasons of missing the playoffs in Carolina, Brady was hired as Buffalo’s quarterbacks coach in 2022 before taking over for Dorsey after 12 games in 2023.
