NWS: Lack of Snowfall This Winter Is Due to El Niño

Blame it on El Niño. That’s what forecasters at the National Weather Service in Buffalo say is the reason we’ve seen the least amount of snow this winter in about two decades. According to meteorologist Bob Hamilton, out weather is being influenced from the west instead of the northwest, and that has led to generally above-normal temperatures.
