CHEEKTOWAGA, NY – According to a press release issued by the Cheektowaga Police Department on Thursday, February 8, 2024, on the evening of 02/08/24, tragedy struck on the Westbound Kensington Expressway as Cheektowaga Police and Fire Dispatch received distressing calls just before 6:30 PM.
Reports indicated an ejection from a motor vehicle between Cayuga and Union Road.
Responding swiftly, emergency services discovered a 21-year-old female down in the roadway, and sadly, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident has prompted an immediate investigation into its cause and the subsequent fatality.
Cheektowaga Police Lt. David Vogel has issued a public appeal for information.
