Buffalo Police arrest suspect accused of impersonating officers

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Buffalo Police have made an arrest following an investigation of a man allegedly pretending to be law enforcement on numerous occasions. Northeast District Officers had first responded to a call on January 20 at Northrup Place for a suspect who had allegedly been making threatening calls, cutting the power, and kicking down the door of a victim’s home. While doing this the suspect would also flash a badge of unknown origins pretending to be an officer, according to investigators.
