Josh Allen Credits Bills’ Defense for Win

You would be forgiven if you thought that the Buffalo Bills would be unable to match the last four years of success due to offseason changes and training camp injuries.

Despite the obvious signs of a letdown, the Bills have done anything but that to this point of the 2024 season, though.

Buffalo has jumped to a 2-0 start – the latest victory coming in a blowout 31-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins Thursday night where the defense returned an interception for a touchdown, while also containing the wide receiver duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

The defense alone helped Buffalo win the AFC East clash – something that isn’t lost on All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen.

“You know, you look at the stat sheet, I don’t, I don’t know what our numbers were, but I know we were really low in time with possession, and we were probably really low in total yards, but still managed to put up 31 points, and that, that means your defense is doing something, right? So they had our back tonight, and we’re going to need them going forward,” Allen said during his postgame media session. “And I’m just very proud of how guys stepped up into their to their roles, and they played together. You know, when you play together like that, you’re typically going to have good results.”
