Dreary but mainly dry to close out weekend as Helene remnants remain south

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – The dreary and damp weather will continue to close-out the weekend in the Buffalo-Niagara region, however we should remainl largely rain-free Sunday.

Our region will stay on the northern edge of the moisture shield with cloudy skies and light showers and sprinkles across Western New York Sunday. Temperatures will remain firmly above normal through Tuesday with readings more typical of late August.

A drier airmass will move into the forecast area tonight and while clouds linger across WNY, dry weather is expected. Mild conditions tonight with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. There could be some patchy fog, forecasters say.
