Local man and his truck headed to hurricane zone with supplies

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) Tim Berry of Williamsville is on his way to hurricane ravaged areas with a truck and trailer full of supplies.

“It needed to be done,” he told WBEN as he departed Wednesday morning.

Berry runs Erie County Blotter, a social media site, that reports on police
and fire incidents around Erie County. His day job is driving a tractor trailer.

“There is a huge need,” Berry explained, “for food, for supplies, dog and cat food. I have the availability, and a large capacity vehicle, so why not do it?” he said.

The supplies and monetary donations were gathered in a short amount of time from friends, neighbors and supporters of Erie County Blotter.
