BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Red Cross is assisting two adults after a fire swept through a Buffalo home, killing seven pets. The fire started shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday at 227 Weiss Street, in Kaisertown, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Fire Department. The fire started on the first floor of an occupied residential structure.
