Schoharie limo operator moved to Attica Correctional Facility

SCHOHARIE, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Nauman Hussain was moved to a new correctional facility. According to the New York State Bureau of Prisons, he is now being held in the Attica Correctional Facility outside Buffalo.

He started serving a five-to-15-year prison sentence in the Clinton County Correctional Facility last June, a few weeks after he was convicted of 20 counts of manslaughter .

Hussain was the operator of the limousine company involved in the 2018 Schoharie limousine crash. Twenty people were killed. Hussain has appealed the conviction .

His attorney argues he was not given enough time to decide between jail and a trial after a judge tossed out a plea deal that would have allowed Hussain to avoid prison time.
