Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Chick-fil-A on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga will be temporarily closed beginning Friday through next Tuesday, October 29th. The restaurant posted on Facebook that some renovations are being made. There’s two other locations where you can get your chicken sandwich fix, one at Transit and Losson in Depew and the other on McKinley Pkwy in Hamburg.

Springboard, a competition for growing businesses in Western New York, recently awarded $200,000 to eight area companies in Buffalo, the Southern Tier and Rochester. Two businesses in the Buffalo area got $25,000 apiece. Latinas Evolving and The Bricks Collaborative were the two Buffalo area winners.

M&T Bank has launched its new Customer Contact Immersion Center at the M&T Tech Hub at Seneca One. Customers will be able to talk to bank employees one on one, which the bank says will help solve challenges quicker and improve the customer experience.
