Bills inch closer to No. 1 seed after win over Dolphins

Tyler Bass sent the Bills home 30-27 winners over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, maintaining Buffalo’s spot as the No. 2 seed in the AFC behind the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.

Sean McDermott’s side earned its fourth-straight win to improve to 7-2 on the back of Bass’ 61-yard game winner, and while it wasn’t always pretty, the Bills still managed to score over 30 points for the third game in a row.

MVP frontrunner Josh Allen threw his second pick of the season in as many weeks, accounting for 235 passing yards and three touchdowns.

In a thrilling back and forth game that featured four lead changes, the Bills continue to prove they have the resolve of a serious Super Bowl contender, especially if they can manage to avoid the slow starts that have forced them to play from behind early in games this year.

Looking ahead, Buffalo hits the road in Week 10 against the Colts, before returning home for back-to-back marquee games against the Chiefs and the visiting San Francisco 49ers.
