After missing an earlier extra point, Bass redeemed himself with a career-best 61-yard field goal that secured Buffalo’s win in the final seconds.
Speaking to NFL sideline reporter Melanie Collins, Allen expressed his pride and admiration for Bass, who had persevered through recent challenges.
“It’s emotional for me,” Allen said , referring to Bass’s struggles and his determination to overcome them. “He’s been fighting adversity, and he nailed it for us. I’m so proud of him, and everyone in our locker room loves and trusts him.”
