Buffalo man arrested after alleged stabbing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 32-year-old Buffalo man was arrested on Wednesday after an alleged stabbing.

Around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a call on Sattler Avenue. A 34-year-old male victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the leg, officials said. The alleged victim told police that the incident occurred following a verbal argument, and that he was stabbed multiple times in front of children.

Officials apprehended the suspect near the intersection of Walden Avenue and Wex Avenue.

Jarrett has been charged with one count of assault in the second degree, a felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

The victim was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for his injuries.
