BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fire that occurred early Monday night in Buffalo caused an estimated total of $250,000 in damage to a residence and displaced four adults, a city spokesperson said.
Fire crews responded to the fire just before 5:30 p.m. at 68 Ryan St. Officials said the fire started in the ceiling of the first floor, which spread to the second floor and attic.
An estimated $150,000 in damage was done to the residence’s structure and $100,000 to its contents.
The displaced adults are receiving help from the American Red Cross.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
