ALDEN, N.Y. — People gathered Friday evening in Alden, in prayer and support for a young girl who is fighting for her life.
The family of 9-year-old Mia Klyczek shared that she was taken to the emergency room on Wednesday, when she tested positive for the flu. This led to bleeding and severe swelling in her brain.
