Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation (ECHDC) and Buffalo Waterfront Group have announced that a new restaurant will soon open at Wilkeson Pointe on the outer harbor.
The new counter-service restaurant, called ‘Perro & Poni,’ will feature Tex-Mex flavors with beach food, including tacos and a full bar.
About a dozen restaurant groups were considered for the location, but the group behind South Buffalo’s ‘Dog & Pony Saloon’ was chosen because of its industry knowledge, proposed concept, and partnership approach, according to ECHDC.
