New rules for short-term rentals in Buffalo approved by Common Council

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Current and future short-term rental owners in the City of Buffalo have a new set of rules to follow after the Common Council voted to approve changes on Tuesday that had long been in the works.

The new rules include protections for existing non-owner-occupied short-term rentals, but limit where future ones can and cannot be located based on zoning.
