WNY to open region’s first peer-support grief center

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Western New York Compassion Connection Center for grieving children and families will officially open their doors Wednesday in Lancaster.

Establishing the building itself took about 11 months, but this is a process that has been in on the minds of founders Gwen Mysiak and Jonathan McGrath for years.
