Women’s History Month wrapped up in the city of Buffalo with a special awards ceremony Monday in the lobby of Buffalo City Hall.
The city recognized eight women for their contributions to the city, including in health, public service, law enforcement and education sectors.
“Women have played such an important role in all areas of our history in Buffalo, and it’s my honor to give them the credit they deserve today, and all year long.
