Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1500 block of 13th Street for a crash involving two vehicles that occurred around 11:15pm on March 31st.
Upon arrival, officers met the male driver of the striking vehicle who confirmed he was driving and crashed into another vehicle. The driver stated that he was the only person in the vehicle.
While speaking with the driver, officers detected a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath as he spoke. The driver also had glassy eyes, which upon being pointed out to him he said it was because he “was crying.” The driver was then moved to the sidewalk for standardized field sobriety tests…
