Niagara Falls Police received a report of larceny at 1925 Main Street around 2:15pm on April 21st.
According to the complainant, on April 3rd he was shopping and believes his wallet fell out of his coat pocket. He did not realize this until the following day on April 4th when he received a text from Summit Federal Credit Union about questionable charges on both of his cards.
The complainant stated that there was a $1,000 charge at Footlocker and a $500 charge at Tops. The total value of fraudulent charges on the account before the cards were frozen was $1,500. The complainant states there was also $200 cash in the wallet and his driver’s license…
