BUFFALO, N.Y. — A recovery operation by Buffalo Police in the Buffalo Canal has closed the ramp from the 198 West to the 190 South in the City of Buffalo.
“The Buffalo Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with assistance from the department’s Underwater Recovery Team, is currently conducting a recovery operation in the Buffalo Canal,” a city spokesperson told 2 On Your Side on Saturday night.
“Following the successful recovery of the body, the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Unit will work closely with the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office to confirm the identity of the individual.”…
