West Seneca PD urges caution amid ‘Senior Assassin’ game fun

WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Police Department shared a safety reminder Saturday night about a popular high school game called ‘Senior Assassin.’

In the Facebook post, West Seneca PD said they recently responded to a report of kids in a parked car who had a “gun with a laser” on it. Officers soon found out it was a water gun and not an actual firearm. The police department said that while there wasn’t an actual threat, these types of calls and reports can still be concerning for officers and the public.

The game is normally played by seniors leading up to high school graduation. It involves a bracket elimination tournament where individual students, or teams of them, are assigned a fellow student or an opposing team to ‘eliminate,’ or rather spray with a water gun…
